Creating and publishing travel insurance (TI) content for B2C and B2B audiences is critical to our success. As such, a new opportunity now exists for an Editorial Producer to deliver World Nomads travel insurance content in brand tone of voice across the relevant USA and Canada domains to fulfil the TI Content Strategy and roadmap to exceed production and conversion objectives.
This role will see you plan, write, edit and publish original travel insurance content including consumer advice, communications and advertising whilst ensuring all content is reflective of current products, is factually correct and compliant. You will act as a translator between travel insurance product compliance and the customer need, translating technical information in a language that travellers understand and in a way that encourages people to comprehend the product and how to navigate through any issues. Your communication style will reflect an unwavering commitment to the traveller and epitomize the World Nomads brand core values and culture of service excellence.
You will work closely with partnership teams to develop partner content and produce regular topical updates to improve partner engagement and sales conversion, as well as tapping into loops with service teams to proactively gather data and analytics to continuously improve TI content performance and usage through customer insights and content enhancements, whilst identifying new opportunities for new editorial and storytelling formats.
Driving best practice throughout all activities, you will be a gatekeeper of World Nomads tone of voice across all touch points, ensuring the language, communications and messaging are consistent with brand and global product portfolio is compliant and always at a high standard.
In addition, you will play a role in driving PR and outbound communications of the topic, with potential to develop the role to include local spokesperson activities across various channels.
This opportunity is based in Oakland, California and reports directly to the Head of Americas.
You are an experienced technical writer with demonstrated experience in corporate communications, creative writing and/ or advertising copywriting, ideally within an online or digital environment, coupled with tertiary or other relevant qualifications.
You possess an innate understanding and passion for travel with the ability to adapt content into something that is lively and engaging that will drive sales by changing behaviours. You have exceptional verbal and written communications skills with a meticulous attention to detail, in addition to a superb grasp of the English language and a critical understanding of the importance and nuance of the word.
Your experience in online and digital content production and usage of content management systems, with the interest in leveraging content consumption data insights to optimise editorial, will see you well placed for success in this role.
