Job Description

We’re looking for a solid Anglular JS Front End Engineer on an initial 3 month contract to assist us in one of our key strategic goals of migrating one of our brands towards the latest and greatest tech to surprise and delight our customers.

What we’re looking for:

We're looking for a strong JavaScript developer to help in our transition to cutting edge of web technologies. You will be expected to play an active role in this process, contributing to decisions and making an impact on the success of the business as we scale for the future. You will be detail focused and hold yourself to the highest standards of practice. You'll be working in a small, agile team on key business project which moves one of our major brands towards a new look and feel as well as a new technology platform.

You most definitely have:

  • 3+ years experience
  • Strong JavaScript skills with specialising in in Angular 4 (2 is ok) Single Page applications
  • Experience in TypeScript and Gulp
  • Unit Testing with Karma/Jasmine
  • End to End testing with Protractor
  • NGRX state management
  • A passion for staying up to date with the latest front end development practices
  • A Love for travel – every single bit of it – and feel passionately about how it changes people’s lives

 You’ll stand out if you have:

  • Experience building Restful API driven web applications (C# backend preferable)
  • BuildKite and AWS based build pipelines
  • The ability to write clean, semantic and accessible HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of CSS processors such as SASS and PostCSS
  • Experience with modular CSS methodologies, especially SMACSS
  • An eye for detail and a focus on quality solutions

About our team:

You’ll be working within a department of 35 other tech. professionals, delivering products to a global audience. This role would see you situated in a small Agile team, servicing  our local brand and working with our newest tech. We’re a passionate bunch and try to have some fun along the way.
